UPVC Post Industrial / Post Consumer Recycling Line
As one of the UK’s leading UPVC window recycling specialist, in the Summer of 2022, CNC Recycling embarked on designing and building a state-of-the-art recycling facility with the aim of sorting and separating post-industrial and post-consumer UPVC window frames in order to recover clean white and JAZZ (coloured) PVC at our site in Middlesbrough.
At project initiation we were committed to involving the best-in-industry expertise for this line integration and so we had no hesitation in contacting Allcontrols Ltd to collaborate and support us in this exciting and extensive project. Having worked with them on several occasions in the past we always found them to be very knowledgeable, helpful and extremely customer focused. We felt the experience in their armoury really lent itself perfectly for our requirements in making sure this installation went well.
We were also committed to procuring the most up-to-date technology on the market to achieve the best results and understand the equipment Allcontrols’ partners provide would be able to achieve our objectives with ease.
In January 2023 phase one of this project commenced with the installation of a Cimbria Delta Cleaner, Hamos EKS electrostatic separator, Cimbria CX colour sorter, swiftly followed by the integration of the Hamos KWS in phase two. A single Hamos EKS can process between 750-1000Kg/hr. The Delta Cleaner and SEA CX can process in excess of that, making it a very efficient and effective installation.
Allcontrols completed their project remit for this closed-loop facility in April 2023, 2 months ahead of the scheduled delivery time. However, we are fully aware they are always on hand whenever we require them for any on-going support as their customer service and professionalism has been demonstrated now that the line is fully operational.
CNC Recycling continues to be totally committed to the recycling industry. This £1million project investment demonstrates this as well as the sustainability in the circular economy for years to come.
