The Goudsmit I-Sens inductive air separator can recover or remove any metal types from co-mingled product streams. The unit’s induction sensor plate detects metal particles, activating corresponding pneumatic valves to eject metal out of the product stream using a pulse of air.
The I-Sens is typically used for the recovery of stainless steel from incinerator bottom ash (IBA) or removal of metal contamination from product streams such as PVC window frame shred, WEEE material, or automotive shredder residue (ASR).
